I'm Katherine, and you can call me such, or if you know me, whatever nickname associated with me :D
Yes, I'm 22 even though I might not look it :)

Are you ready for the Ruffneck Bass?

Skrillex’s popular Ruffneck Bass got the visual treatment, an interestingly scripted Christmas-themed short about a mall Santa Claus under too much stress that bugs out to too many screaming little kids. As is common of Skrillex videos, it’s definitely an interesting visual experience that is perfectly synced with the bass rockets that shoot out of the track.

Very similar in production style to the Equinox music video, this comes as no surprise as the prince of dubstep brings in director Tony T. into the equation once again.

In other Skrillex news, if you haven’t already picked up his latest EP Bangarang, the wobble-packed, filth-filled EP dropped on Friday through Beatport. As a little teaser, I’m letting you guys hear the tracks right here on the blog, but if you wanna pick up a copy of the EP, you’ll have to go the legit way, support Skrillex and buy a copy. You can do so, as I said, on Beatport.

Take a free listen, enjoy, and go get your own. You’ll need it. Oh, and the tracks are in order of the tracklisting.

Just minutes after finishing its production, Sonny Moore— who just about everyone in the world at this point knows as Skrillex— dropped this little bombshell two nights ago. Figures it would be a remix of Avicii’s Levels. Just can’t stop hearing the hype around that song!

A special thanks to our friend Pat DeSouza over at Electric BU for putting me on to this video!

Stay on the lookout for a studio edit, any day now.
